One Little Indian

…was told dirty little lies
all my dirty little life.
…how my “God’s were never right
and my arrow couldn't fly”.

Back when two-leggeds and four-leggeds
were living like-a-relatives,
visions of the snowy hills and
mountains staring right at ourselves…

Blue coats moved us, raised their guns,
“Black Elk Speaks” and
ghosts rise up to dance…

My horse woke from a dream…
with men coming after me,
I saw Big Foot going down,
others dancing all around…

There were one, two, three, four, five little Indians,
visions of the snowy hills and
mountains staring right at ourselves…

Blue coats moved us, raised their guns,
“Black Elk Speaks” and
ghosts rise up to dance…

Born by accident in a studio in 2004. Died bloody in 2009. Rose from the dead live onstage on Jan 10, 2014. Sounds like a Dionysian myth to me.
